What is this tool?

A Pomodoro Timer is a productivity tool based on the Pomodoro Technique — a time management method created by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. The method breaks work into 25-minute focused intervals called "pomodoros," each followed by a 5-minute short break. After completing four pomodoros you earn a longer 15–30 minute break. This structure reduces mental fatigue, fights procrastination, and keeps you accountable to a sustainable working rhythm. It is widely used by students, developers, writers, and remote workers.

How to use this tool?

1. Set your work session length (default is 25 minutes) and break lengths (short break 5 minutes, long break 15–30 minutes). 2. Click "Start" to begin your first pomodoro — focus solely on your current task. 3. When the timer ends, an alert sounds. Click "Start Break" to start the 5-minute short break. 4. After the break, click "Start" to begin the next pomodoro. 5. After completing four pomodoros, take a long break (15–30 minutes) to fully recharge before the next cycle. 6. Track your completed pomodoro count on screen to see your daily productivity total.
